I urge all beer drinkers to try at least one micro brewed American beer to end the myth taht (these days) all American bere is bad!

Many beer lovers say:
Czech beer is the best in the world!
I've had a lot of Czech beers and some of their pilsners are very damn tasty, but the macro breweries are diluting them and saving pennies, lowering quality.

Others claim Germany makes the best beers.
I've had plaenty of German beers and a lot of it is just plain old lager, similar to many other countries.
There are lots of great German beers of course, but there's a lot of bad ones also.

Many hold up Belgium as the best of the best.
Some of the beers are for sure!
I also think though that a lot of them are just basic clones taht taste more or less the same as hundreds of other Belgian beers.

All in all:
Don't drink just one or a few beers from one country and then say it's all good or bad, try to drink them all, like me :D

/end rant

Sounds not really tasty... but I remember Corona was not so bad and it's with corn, too, right?

it is as well, yes.

I've heard stories (most likely not true, but still) that they use clear glass (not good) and leave them out in the sun (not good) to actaully make sure they get oxidozed (not good) before they sell their beers.

I think it's just using a lot of corn toghether with lots of filtering and not much hops that makes the beer so bad.

But hey, they sell millions and millions of liters of it, somehow they've managed to make a beer that many people will buy!

hehehe

:p

Ser fram emot ett besök i Göteborg :D

Thanks for your advice, sounds wise ;)

Especially in Germany there's a huge difference between beers from the South and from the North. Personally, I hate the beer from the south except for Weizen :D

But Germans are among the most traditional and most specifically regional beer drinkers I've ever seen!

Even ppl from Köln and Düsseldorf go like:

"Don't even go to that city (the other one), their beer is BAD and the people are crazy! Go to my city where to beer is best in the world and the people lovely!"

Sometimes fun, sometimes scary ;)

And "Bud Light" always has funny commercials, they are so popular that they even show them on German TV shows  ...but just the name sounds... weird :D

yeah, they take a beer that taste pretty much nothing (except from canned vegetables) and they remove even MORE of the malt and with it the small tast they did have.

it's very strange :p

I hope they pass a law that states beer must be brewed to taste something, and not with it's prime directive to make people drunk :p
