Which Amon Amarth CD do recommend as their best. I have only one and forgot the title.

well, it depends very much on what one likes (of course)

Once sent from the golden hall
is a bit more raw, tough, gritty

The Avenger
and
The Crusher
is a step towards the more melodic sound, still rather fast and hard

Versus The World
was a turning point in a way, they started gathering fans and had a more tight sound in a way

Fate of Norns
was the first one that really had lot of studio mixing, lots of time to write songs, fine polishing, I was dissapointed at first, but it grows on you. A LOT more fans because of this CD though and the real breakthrough

With Oden on our side
also well studio handled, but I think more powerful than FoN

So do you want a well studio remastered version or a more death metal heavy sort of early sound?
