I failed as a beer-explorer. Didn't go to either of those places I said i would, like the bull and castle. Bah. Though I did go to the guinness storehouse...which was OK i guess.
That the same as the Guinness brewery?

I turned 38 last Thursday, I had a visit from my biggest fan, I had Gnoff as a visitor, I had joy, I had fun!
No. you didn't miss anything.
I thought it was going to be the brewery. But it actually isn't. I mean you're in the same area as the brewery but you don't get to go there. It's like the heineken "brewery" in amsterdam. You walk through a semi-guided tour...get to feel grains with your hand...learn about the history of the brewery. But it's all in a modernized building. The only good thing was the free pint at the end.

i fear that next year when i go to germany for wacken, i will never want to come back because the beer will be so good. im even thinking of making a trip to poland when im over there next year too. who knows, i will have to see what i can do though. and start SAVING MONEY![]()
HAven't been to Poland yet, but I hope to visit, perhas next year also
