It's about 5 min. walking from the festival area. And if you arrive on Tuesday, and you're with more than 2, take a taxi, the driver will know.

Well we will arrive Tuesday or Wednesday, again depending on ground transport. We may be getting a ride to the festival with my friend. If not we will likely take the Bock Tours bus ride there.

The reason I'm asking is when I attended in 2003 we stayed at a home in Itzehoe and showered there.

If you do not mind showering with complete strangers, I'd say just hit the showers.
Never tried the body wash thing, showering worked perfectly for me

Best time to take a shower is very early in the morning btw
