50,000 before W:O:A 2009!

nono, blasphemy would be to say this wasn't one of the best musical experiences for me during the past 15 years of my life

lets start off with this

Day 1:
All of OSFTGH
then some break
then a whole new show with mixed stuff

Day 2:
All of Avenger
then some break
then a whole new show with mixed stuff

Day 3:
All of Crusher
then some break
then a whole new show with mixed stuff

Day 4:
All of WtW
then some break
then a whole new show with mixed stuff
Followed by NYE party


Each night before the show the guys held a signing session for as long as the line was there.
Each night after the shows all the guys of the band got out to meet the fans for pics, signing, cahts and all.

Last two nights all wives and girlfriends was there to have fun as well.


All nights us crazy bastards from the AA boards were partying before, during and after the shows as crazy.


All 4 shows was sold out to hard core AA fans.


It all got filmed from begining to end, hopefully ending up in a 3-4 DVD release in the future.


I got to meet all the band members, all the significant others of the band members, pretty much all of the guys from the AA forum that was on site, got to party with a crew of crazy bastards, and some of the best 8 AA shows ever (had seen 13 before this)

Oh, got interviewed twice for the DVD, hope they'll edit me out



and that is getting me started a bit on how great it was

they played some songs they've NEVER played live before, also 2 songs from teh very first mini-album

and got to meet and party with their first drummer as well
also met the singer of This Ending that I haven't heard of before, but turns out to be a kink ass band and will see them live soon in Göteborg

We had at least 3 ppl from the US and 2 from Australia coming, money is no excuse


Don't think I'll ever live to see something as epic (for me) again.

In a few years when they've released their next album, perhaps they'll go again, make it an 8 day event

Sweden is a lot closer to Germany than the US
it is when you're 18 and unemployed
