maar het is een half binnenlandse trein, half buitenlands, hoewel het wel een stoptrein is van de NS en niet van de DB

Andersom maar dat is een detail.
Op de treinen van/naar Aken (Aachen Hbf) is Nederlands tarief geldig tot de grens. (dus ook je OV)

Omdat die alleen internationale (HST/IC) verbindingen kent. Boisheim, Breyel en Dülken zal hij ook niet kennen, ik twijfel al over Viersen en Mönchengladbach.
