though sometimes I let the customer do lots of talking (when they are talking about totally unimportant stuff) and I just do something else.. like spamming in here..
and then when they are done I ask one or two questions and then I know what to do for them

sometimes i've customers who are 5 years out of warranty (so they cant get help if they dont pay a fee), so i just let them talk, scream and so on
