Well yes and no, I would maybe miss it more than I think I would. The cold weather would be a BIG adjustment to make.

from what I can tell, northern Germany and NL aren't too much colder than it is here. sooo I guess I could manage.

I'd adapt for sure, and the metal festivals during the summer would be a huge plus! Not to mention the smaller gigs that happen all year round.
