well you basically have to change your whole mindset around from a pessimistic perspective to an optimistic one

like you can start off by telling yourself, 'maybe it's not working so far, but something will eventually if I put my mind to it'
and just look for the positive things in life and not the negative... even the little things like, 'oh look, that guy opened the door for me, that's nice of him'
and then stuff like, waking up in the morning and telling yourself it's going to be a good day
