I did my Erasmus in Louvain la Neuve!
I visited once Leuven

well, speaking about names of the cities, I really prefer to use the language of the place
Things like Rijsel or Gand doesn't mean so much IMHO
as for Brussels, better to use the English

anyhow supporting the three languages of Belgium

Leuven is not pronouncable for non-Dutch speakers.
Neither is Gent. (it is Ghent in English)

And some even have 3(!) names!

Leuven/Louvain/Löwen.
Liège/Luik/Lüttich
Brussel/Bruxelles/Brüssel

Though I agree with the non-translation of the names.
But on the other hand... Why is it "The Hague" in stead of "Den Haag"?
