That's why I am actually pretty afraid of fireworks or don't want people to handle it irresponsibly... I started feeling really uncomfortable when I saw people had fireworks in Wacken. It was the first year I've seen that btw.

In Silvester 1999 I was in Brussels, and someone threw somehting just before my feet!

Didn't see it, and it went off. I scared the hell out of me.
Ever since I refuse to work on December 31 here. (the same Brussels btw, though in 1999 I didn't even LIVE in Belgium)

Yea, people are shit when it comes to fireworks.... it's New Year's Eve in English btw.

That was also the first time in my life btw. that I've seen fireworks exploding that close to the ground (rockets). Must have been some illegal stuff... I was really afraid of that shit. That was probably the reason why I didn't want to celebrate New Year's Eve in the Netherlands this year. I don't know how (ir)responsible people handle fireworks over there and Wacken made my fear of it come up again.
