i found my camera on the side of the road a couple years back, so it was basically free , so if it goes, no big deal. its been holding up pretty good too. its a casio exilium or whatever they are called.

The only normal show I'm seeing this summer is the Summer Slaughter tour, and that's only for three bands.

I wouldn't see the tour Slayer's on if they paid me though. I don't like the other bands at all.

tickets here are cheap, even for pit tickets, so im gonna go and get my ass kicked in the slayer pit and then go after that. slayer needs to tour with better bands though, i do agree.

They're like, $60 here. I don't even think Slayer i headlining. I think they're like support. Correct me if I'm wrong of course.

Lately I've been kind of sticking with Tyr, Ensiferum, Vreid and related bands. Though yesterday my friend lent me the new Alestorm cd and I've been checking that out today.

tyr and ensiferum are some of my favorite bands of all time... alestorm is also fucking great you have good taste

Here they're going to be playing on August 4th anyways. I'll have just come back from Wacken then so I'm not really concerned on missing it.

They toured with Tyr and Suidakra here. I, sadly, ended up napping through Alestorm because I was so tired after being awake for 24 hours and I still had a 7 hour drive ahead of me. I didn't want to miss Tyr.

Didn't that other tour already end? I have the poster for it on my wall and it says it end on the 23rd of April.

I know how that is. I'm only going this year because I worked last year and used my tax rebate for airfare. Technically this trip i costing me 1/2 of my income for this year, but I'd rather live broke and have a ton of fun than have money and live miserably.

Lucky for me, I'm seeing Ensiferum 5 days before I go to Helsinki with the Summer Slaughter tour. I just hope they play a decent sized set. They've never played more than 30 minutes here.

If Tyr comes to Wacken I'd be one of the happiest people alive though.

Kampfar and Borknagar I'm looking forward to. Korpiklaani I want to see when I'm not so drained of energy due to lack of food like last time. Turisas, I'm hoping I'll be able to see them with them in the small stage.
