it is international, though not in holland, since the day before that we have queens day.

i did not remember holland had monarchy

anyway here in italy is national holiday and no one works may, 1 (except restaurants, hospital and so on).. but our service works..

this is why i've asked the day-off

yeah queens day is a day off for me.. but have to work on may 1st though.

January: 1st (first day of the year), 6th (epiphany)
February: Nothing
March: Nothing
April: Easter and the monday after easter and 25th (freedom from "nazism")
May: 1st (workers day)
June: 2nd (republic day)
July: nothing
August: 15th (Ferragosto, which is a very ancient italian holiday)
September: nothing (maybe my birthday on 17th )
October: nothing
November: 1st (all saints holiday)
December: 8th (the "immaculate conception"), 25th christmas, 26th first christian martyr)
