this kid videotaped his brother (wearing a ski mask) beating up the cat and pouring stuff in to poor critters eyes

but they recognized the kid with the ski mask from pics he put on myspace and facebook. not his face of course, but his room...

I got to know that from an organisation that is fighting for higher fines for animal cruelty. Up to 25thousand Euros or jail

I am not a big fan of the American legal system, but they deal way better with animal abusers than we do.

In NL a animal is considered a thing, so it is only criminal when there is visible damage to the animal.

they don't need to give that kid a fine (I did not see the vid, I just read it on a news site, but from what they described ) but if you ask me they should put a kid like that in a looney ward.

I'm contra death penalty. But the fines they adviced sounded really sensible
