makes more sense? Anyways, can you actually do and 'read' German sounds?
well like I was saying [correct me if I'm wrong], German sounds are usually the same for each letter combination... besides I guess just long and short vowels... in English, you get silent 'g's and all kinds of stuff
for the most part, I think so, but I don't have any way to know for sure![]()
Actually the only words I know are Vogel and vor (so far)
about 'y'... mostly words that aren't basicly German. Like Rhythmus
and all you 'c' are in German 'k' or 'z'
Circus e.g. in German is Zirkus
yea, that's all I can think of too
though maybe another one I can't remember
don't think German letters can be pronounced differently. But I actually didn't think so for English either...
yea okay, well German's different... I've figured that out by now![]()
we've got all kinds of weird combinations, and different ways to pronounce the same spelling, and etc
probably something I'll have to teach you irl though![]()
your turn btw.
just reminding meI was once at the Fogel vrei market and a couple was walking by and they were making fun like: wow, they are so stupid, they wrote 'vrei' with 'v' but they didn't notice, 'Fogel' was written with 'f'
