I had a Shuffle awhile back, but it broke within like a month
plus it's so annoyingly mainstream...
like at school, teachers will be like "no iPods" rather than "no mp3s"

sorry to hear of your bad shuffle. My ipod video has been Rock Solid for two years. And my nephew's ipod has been through hell, thoroughly thrashed and still works great.
