well if she only thinks it's against her beliefs, she really needs to figure that out for herself
but if it is, then that's just another weird thing certain religions do, and whether or not you like it you should still respect it.
like I know some people think my beliefs as a Mormon are strange, but that doesn't mean you can just talk crap about it... or at least it shouldn't, but people do.
