uhm yea... but they started with punk about 20 years ago That was when everybody was punk because they wanted to rebel again police etc. Die Ärzte started with an alternative form of that because they were sick of all the anti-police parols so they did punkmusic with just fun- and absolute nonsense lyrics So they actually tried to make unpopular music. Was kinda unplanned, that they actually caught people with that

By now they are probably the most popular band of germany, but they are still making great music and they didn't become all diva or something. They are just funny, cool guys
