is there any particular reason why like certain grindcore and brutal death metal bands like to be realky gorey, graphic, bloody, disgusting, etc?
not that I'm making fun, just really curious

guess for the same reason as black metal bands being all satanic etc

I could only think of Queensrÿche and Queen [not metal, but good band] off the top of my head...
