Metallica could be looking back on their tours around the time of Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets and be like, "you mean WE did that?!"

probably the same kind of thing with most famous, or just generally successful people

I'd like to be able to, when I'm old and about to die, look back in my life and say "whoa, look what I did... was that seriously ME?"
