apparently now it's a "fact" that there were two impacts in the wreck, which from what I can tell "proves" I hit them first
might actually end up going to court

They're always lookin for some evidence so they don't have to pay you off. Insurance.. pah. The only "sure" thing about them is that they get your money, not vice versa.
