Parents. I'm trying to get them away once and for all. Here is where it gets complicated: I can't drive, my eyesight is too bad to ride a bike (can't balance anyway), and the bus system does not get to even 1/4 of the places I need to get to, so dad is basically my ride for now...
...how do I get them to stop meddling in my own affairs? My idiot mother (the same one who thinks I'd get sold into slavery by the Norwegians should I ever go there) threatened to involuntarily commit me since my weight was down (to 146lb/66kg, above the 'underweight' thresh-hold for my height set by the American Medical Association)...this has been on the back burner for some time, but it seems I was mistaken not to get this done sooner.

maybe try and get into a european university, then the living costs are reduced, you gotta a specific destination and purpose, and you're thousands of miles away!

at least, that's one solution. others might involve getting some work expirience and eventually just trying for a similiar job in whatever here in europe, or in newyork or whatever.

"sex slavery" is a major problem in europe but mainly concerns eastern european girls, and not american guys...

I've tried getting into a European university, but I cannot get the funding to do so. No loans, nothing from any of the banks. As for the work, I have experience as a book-keeper, but that's about it. I have, though, been looking for an apartment in two (very far away) states so that I will not be bothered, that may yet the solution, but it presents logistical difficulties.
