Have you ever tasted fried chips with olive oil? Every time I speak with my mother, on the phone or in Hotmail messenger, I tell her to prepare some "spanish-style-chips" for the 22nd December dinner I'm a bit tired of the german "Pommes".I don't want to create a polemic, but the only time I ate some nice food in Amsterdam was in an argentinian restaurant
Anyway, dutch food was much better than the english one, in my opinion. But I suppose than my stomach is used to spanish food (plenty of olive oil) and yours is used to dutch food
