They're worth it if you do a lot of travelling though, because you get the best exchange rates that way...I charged everything I could to my Visa - it just converted all the prices to US $ with a really good rate, no commission or fees.
Those exchange places are such ripoffs.

Damn straight! when I first got to London, I went up to one to get a bus pass...gave them $20, and they only gave me 4 pounds back...they charged a fucking £3.50 commission! Now I know better.

ohhh london is a FUUUCKING expensive place!!! should have met up with me!! and give you fuck loads of advise..and USE Marks&Spensers - 0%commision...but quite low rates...

Sorry man - next time! London's expensive, but not terrible...better than NYC and about as bad as DC. I looked at M&S, and they were alright...I think £1 = $1.67, which is decent. people on the Argon bus told me to use the Post Office...no commission, but even the rates there weren't great. Best way is just using the ATMs...no fees, and when I checked my account balance, they were giving me $1.59 or $1.60.

yeah - PO arent bad...but big friggin queue man!!...you know us Brits dont like queues
