NILE? weren't they a little disappointing?

i havent heard "in the darkened shrineness"...but i think amongst the catacombs...is FUCKING brillliant. they played Stones of Sorrow...the best track! - but they wasnt as good as when i saw them in Oct 2002.

dont forget also that slayer did come on stage complety pissed too..which is why they fucked off early but from where i was standing the sound was arse..i mean in 98 and the other time they played ozzfest they slayed but they just didnt pack the punch i wanted.

As for nile when i first saw them in wakefield they was good but the sound was crap and to be honest after that they never had impressed me that much. they wasnt bad at the x mas fest in belgium but nile have never been a band that has really impressed me only on the first album :)

I just dont think slayer should have been high up on that bill they are big but they are more suited to small venues then there is a lot more energy there. Its the same with arenas too if you have to sit down in an arena it sucks :(.

Small venues are always the best for bands you get a decent position good sound and an energy flowing crowd :D
