Both bands were absolutely amazing! I can't believe I forgot to mention Sabbath in that last post! Priest sounded incredible, and hearing "Beyond the Realms of Death" live was worth the price of admission. And Sabbath...holy SHIT they were LOUD!!!! What an awesome show!
If you still want to see them, the tour is running through the beginning of September, if you wanna come over! I'm going to see it again in Raleigh, Aug 31, I think.
I'll be arriving in Hamburg on Wednesday from London...looks like I'll be taking the Eurostar train, since the cost of a RyanAir flight into Luebeck that day suddenly jumped from 19.99 GBP to 139.99 GBP!!!
I'd like to go directly to Wacken that same day, if I can find a ride.
But this year, I'm going to stay a few days in Hamburg after Wacken...the fun must go on!

Well i´ve seen Priest on June 13th in Oberhausen and they played the full show there
and if i can trust in some bootlegs, halford sounded even better in europe
So if you´ll arrive in Hamburg on Wednesday, it shouldn´t be impossible to hook up with some forumlers there, cos most of them live somewhere south of Hamburg and will arrive on wednesday afternoon/evening
(maybe me too, but i´m not quite sure)
