Not seeing my people, the language, the mindset... From the exchange students that have been in my place, I figured Spanish are really open minded and a bit forceful... I'd rather be somewhere where I can hide in a corner when I don't feel like having people around me

ah yeah, spanish people won't let you hide probably.

though I think a country that would have a more german like mindset wouldn't talk a language that you're studying.

I wish I could sleep till 11am, but I always wake up around 5am, and then at 6:30 and then I ussually don't really sleep anymore.

Well, I do study english Plus my university doesn't obligate us to go to a country where they speak a language that we study. Plus I could have gone to a country where they don't speak it, but teach it. That's why I tried staying in NL for my exchange year.

well I guess being in spain will be good for learning spanish though.

Yea. I wanted to improve my Dutch. But the partneruniversity of our university only provided courses for IIM students which isn't exactly what I study (IKÜ). So I wasn't allowed to go
