I saved a lot for my plans of fall 2010, the cruise and my Cali trip didn't/won't eat all that money.

If you book a plane early, for say 600 euro, and then the cabin all inclusive less booze for say 900 dollars, and spend about 200 bucks on beers as I did this year, it's not that bad.

Of course you might want to spend a few days before and after, staying in hotels and stuff, you CAN make it expensive

well, it is a lot of money, but since I'm not going to that many other festivals, for example this year it looks like I'll only do Tuska and maybe Metaltown, I don't spend too much money on other festivals, then I can save up for this cruise, which is probably the best festival I've ever seen.
