for home stereo listening, over the ear, I have STAX headphones at home, had some AKGs years ago, they were excellent. For the ipod, in ear for the noise cancelling benefit.

Yeah it was on special in the local shop so 30 cans for £15 (approx $30). So now too bad .
Its good stuff but can be lethal in the wrong hands .
We have a lot of cider over here now - seems to have grown in the last few years .
Its a good thing

I love it loud, as we all do, and prefer to use both sides, my co worker leaves one ear open, I just turn it down a bit.
