OK it's not an actual physical school, it was just a group of artists.

Haha. Yeah...but what I was talking about IS called the 'Utrecht school' so I'm not a complete idiot...only half

You should be proud to live in such a cool, historical area. Around the time of the reformation there was a lot of cool shit going on. The Flanders-area had to deal with the Spanish occupation though, until like 1648.
