hum... ok. Can't emphasise that, but I know there's sometimes weird fears... I don't like the feeling (just feeling, not pain) either. But it's so short moment. In comparison to that you have to sit there and feel the operation for hours. Now that sucks...
Just take the amnesthesia (is it spelled like that? :p), ok? This will make things way easier

btw i think it's anesthesia, without the 'm' :D

and that's why i want to do it. whether or not i can, is what i'm wondering... but i think so. :]

I'll tell you something. I had a desensibilisation. (Maybe in english it would be called desensetivation...).
This is a needle therapy against allergics. I got a needle every week for 3 years and I'm still alive ;)

It's a funny thing. German "sensibel" means sensitive, while "sensible" in english means something totally different ("vernünftig") :p
don't worry, you're better at spelling than most people i know :D
...who are native english speakers... :p
