we just can't identify with them. Therefore it's too bad, that most "typical german" things are from bavarian culture... Maybe that's why we don't like them.

Yeah I agree. Usually when people think of Germany they think of Bavarians in lederhosen drinking lots of beer...(the movie Beerfest doesn't help with that stereotype, lol )

If you look at the history of Germany and Bavaria though..it's sort of like Bavaria is its own country anyhow. They have been separate entities for a long time, and occasionally Germany will annex it

The Bavarian do the same thing though. Everything outside Bavaria is considered "foreign country". Even CDU has a separate Bavarian party! (CSU)

It used to be a kingdom but some act as it still is.

It will just be funny, once I have been in Bayern for a whole year. Then maybe I go to Wacken and start talking to someone. They're like...wtf...an American with a bavarian accent and mannerisms. Now that would be laughable It doesn't bother me in the least though.

fucking 7-11 not reporting back to the god damn 800 number to tell them i showed up to the interview making it impossible for me to get an interview at another 7-11 now, i have to wait fucking six months now to reapply unless the lady who talked to me clears it up, but shes in vacation right now, god damn fucking hell
