Hey now :p

I actually did speak with my tutor about this. He said of course Bavarians have a very different accent than northerners, and that Bavarians can always understand northerners but not always the other way around. He also said that I will be going to a school, not living on a farm :p So i shouldn't worry about it.

You'd better. In school it may be alright, but in the villages this might be completely different. And I suppose you're not going to stay at home all day!
