mine's pretty good, I'd say... but it depends more on the headphones.

I just bought some VModa in-ear headphones, they sound excellent and offer good noise cancelling which will be nice for the long flights to Germany.

same size as mine. but I need a new one with more capacity, and soon.

I have my 80GB half filled, 40Gb so far, I could easily fill it several times over so I am hand picking songs now, rather than just dumping entire albums on it.

Me too, I'll bring my charger and look for an available outlet to recharge it at the airport at my first stop which will be in Seattle for 7 hours, That will give me enough juice or the second flight.

do they make chargers that let you plug an mp3 in like you would a flash drive? because that's how I would have to do it, or else find a computer or something.

Well mine plugs in and charges via a USB connction, but I have an adaptor that I can plug into an electrical outlet and it transforms the current to what the ipod uses and still connects via cable to the ipod. And my sister in law has an adtor to use in Europe which she will lend me for the trip.
