Your snare drum maybe touching the bass drum. try moving it slightly.
or put something under the snare stand to cut down the vibration to the snare that is causing the rattle.(like a small piece of carpet)
or tighten the snares a little.

well i noticed that wherever i place the snare drum, my 10 inch tom is still the thing causing the rattling. so i messed around with the tuning of the 10" and now theres less rattling, but the tom sounds a bit deader...

ok i tightened the snares. now i just have to wait until my mom wakes up so i can test it.

I actually messed with the tuning some more and I found a compromise, thanks a bunch though. Definitely gonna join that forum too - i love new forums!
