    Another suggestion that can work for you... he can also use Skype/google credit to call you on your phone(with no internet) using the internet from his phone/computer. That's pretty cheap as well. :D

    We haven't had an indoor metal concert in the country yet, as far as I know. All of them are in stadiums, open fields and so on.

    We have to wait even longer for our concerts. :p Fortunately though we are fast approaching our "concert season" (fall-winter), so we have Meshuggah in October (not interested), Behemoth also in October (very interested) and another festival in November which hasn't announced the lineup yet...
