  • Have you been asleep or just in a not-paying-attention mood? ;):D

Not really, that's right. But I feel it's the basic glue, maybe the reason, and once it's been the whole thing. And in fact - I'm wearing black all the time, but never been anything else than the good one.;)
Of course it's easier to be the person the society wants us to be. But I'm not. I think it's not right, being a selfish, dumb, rude and above all cowardly betrayer. At least that's what most of the people around me want me to be. But I don't give a damn. I try to be what I'd like to be - fair, thoughtful, polite, brave, honourable and true. And maybe some day I hope to deserve being called a wise person. That's what I'd like to call the principles of a warrior. As for the "Darkness" in my nick - only the dark times bring forth warriors who may once be called legendary white knights. That's my dream, and I'd say it's worth fighting for. I won't succeed in making the world a better place, but hopefully I'll be the idol for some people who finally will succeed. No greater trace can be set to history than being the one in the first row - outnumbered, outgunned, but the reason. People will remember for a long time, and maybe even 'till the end.

All those memories made me the person I am today. They are the most valuable thing I've got because they're the reason - they're me.
So - good luck in your lessons - and have fun. I think I won't be with you because I'll sleep till noon. :D:D

I'm more the one who not exactly loves but cares, and is loved for that. That's my motto, as it reads in my signature: "To help the helpless ones, who all look up to you, and to defend them - to the end!" In fact this is why I love Metal. It's not the sound - not only - but more the idea of being the white knight. There lies a certain image of mankind within, and if a great bunch of people would try to take this image out of mind into the real world, it'll be a much better place.
Yeah, I do know. I do always remember the smile of relief on the face of the old lady who not only found her cellar flooded but also a bunch of young lads in firefighters clothes who did a great job in there. And it still makes me proud to be named under those lads. Times have changed and what to bear is now much more heavy, but the first time always sticks in mind :)

Yes, I should judging all the time. Most people are just categorizing, but I like things to be done proper. It's the best for everyone, because there is no category labelled for two people. Everyone is an individual, and that's why he has to be judged, not categorized. And I do not listen to the singing of passing birds, as a wise Cherokee once said. It's important what I see, hear and think, what others say is only to find the clue by yourself.
Yes, my point of view is very restricted. That's what it makes it fair. I don't care whether other people understand me or not. There's only my decision, and I have to sort it out by myself. People give hints, they don't supply truth.

Most of the laws are bullshit. The few worth to obey are much more restrictive in my holy rules.
"Dies irae, dies irae, dies irae - venit
Dies irae, dies irae, dies irae - venit
Poena dei, poena dei, poena dei - venit
    Amen, amen
    Poena dei venit!" (Rage)

It's more worth than money, because doing something and afterwards be awarded money is like doing something just for money - it just makes you feel selfish. But a smile doesn't hurt, can't be rejected but also not be taken. It's just something in the air, never quite real and not lasting for a second, but the impression is like a fire - everlasting. And so it's vitally true what you say - you made people smile in a bad situation, which is like giving hope to the hopeless...

Some people have dark secrets. And most people can't bear the knowledge of those dark secrets in people they know. They feel guilty knowing the guilt. I'm different. I judge people by their doings, hard but fair. And there's one thing about fairness: If something was committed and really regretted, there has to be someone who forgives. There's no one without guilt, and that's what you have to have in mind when judging. And of course I live by other laws - simple, hard and fair. That's my guide, no matter what old men in silk and diamonds say to be law.

It was in fact not very easy, but nevertheless it seemed to be clear to everyone after i've explained it. And it seemed also to be fun - or at least interesting. No one demanded to go home, even as I needed more than the full 1.5 hours.
    You're talking like a prophet :D:D "The End is - faraway!" :D:D
Of course I do also try to be a happy person whatever's going on 'round me. It's just that I'm gathering happiness mostly when helping other people. Of course not when helping everyone, but the people who deserve it, who need help and may often not have more than a smile to return. It's mostly the expression of great relief and honest gratitude that gives me pride and happiness. That's mostly the essence I live on...
Just write if you feel you've the right words...

Oh, there are dreams coming true. It just doesn't say it's everyones dream. But some of my dreams did come true yet, so there's nothing to say that there won't be any more. And that's why I try to live my dream. But of course it's not only dreams that are coming true, it's also sometimes something you've never dreamed of ;)

Well, this time it wasn't. Maybe because most of it was very dry theory. But next time it'll be much more easy...
Hey hey hey nun mal langsam mit den jungen Pferden, wir sind verheiratet???
But I am, sweety ;) :D O'course I see your point - this is not a PM but a guestbook - open to everyone.
Oh, so you're waiting for your dreams to come true. Nice, but does it make the world better? I mean, better for all people? You see, I'm the kind of person who cares about others. ;)
Hmm, does that mean it's gonna be bad if it's going the other way round? Maybe it's just another kind of fun - ever thought about that? ;)
My weekend was not a weekend at all. I dare say more work than during the week, but gladly more sleep ;) You know, I'm teaching now IT for three weeks at two hours a week, and of course have to prepare these two hours. Digital Security doesn't come easy to most of my classmates, since they're only thinking of computer and not - say - passport, shopping and phone. Hard work to prepare for, but it seems to be great fun for them.;)
I'm glad to hear that, and in fact I also am looking forward to your next posting every time. And be assured that I do also appreciate your affection. Besides - I know about the strange ways of the Americans - I was live into for 3 weeks... ;)
May I ask why you don't want to try to live your dream? Is it just for not being disappointed? I think it's bad to be disappointed, but on the other hand worse to know I've never tried, if I didn't. Someone said once: It's not a shame to fall to the ground, but never try to stand up would be the worst. :)
Don't you want to be surprised? I mean, really, even deep in your heart, in the darkest corner? And if so, what I don't think is possible, does he know? Or is that one of your little secrets? ;)
Sure it is hard to tell. That's where the words are insufficient to tell. And sure you do care about traditions, no matter how hard you try not to. It's even tradition to the young to break the habits of the elders. And it's for sure that you've got those dreams and expectations too. I'd wish you it wouldn't be, but I don't see how it could be this way. And that's good. Because one without dreams has never lived. There have to be goals, and those you set in your dreams.
Look, he knows he's the One and Only for you, but he'll like to proof that anyway. He likes to convince not only you but also everyone around you. It hasn't be material, but unexpected. Trust me, he likes to see you surprised and happy the same time ;)
    O' course I do remember :D

I do understand that you wanna break the habit, but some traditions stick deep. Maybe you've succeeded, but I doubt it, at least for your boyfriend. And of course I've a certain image in mind, regarding relationships. It's just like - say - the 13th century with make-up. You know, the guy wanna be the hero for his maid, or maybe just for his warrior princess, but not in a that complicated way. Sure, I'm all ears for romantic situations, certainly with candles too, but not like in any movie. And, for sure, there lies a lot of pride in being somehow THE guy for the girl. Ask your friend, I think if he's willing to tell you the truth he'd say the same. ;)
Oh, I love reading too - but for one year now only in english. And - of course - only the BEST - Terry Pratchett... :D:D

Ok, that would of course be an immorally offer - you can't accept the gift but neither can refuse it because, well, it's the WOA. That would've been nasty...
But see - there's no problem with guys paying for their girlfriends because that's somehow polite - but the other way round it's just ashaming for the guy. Somehow it has to do with tradition, something with the male as the one responsible for the needs of the family whether the female is the one to be sort of carried on hands. I think worshipped is somehow wrong, but the other way it fits right enough. Traditions have strange ways...
Ok, that's a point. I do also not charge money from my friends, but since everyone is working except me they come up with the idea themselves. They knew I'm not rich, and therefore don't take "no" for an answer. ;)
It's pretty ashaming when me and my friend (not girlfriend, but female) are going out to eat something and the bugger just doesn't accept even paying my drink myself.
But anyway - she knows my problems and I don't hide with that sort of thing. Nor does she with hers. :)
What with you? No time for babysitting or something else, that's what I can't believe... ;)

Yeah, no one wants to touch a guy who's forgotten that the contents of the stomach have to be inside to be called "contents"
Within the holidays as a joiner, and during the week - if anyone needs me - I repair computers. The IT-"job" is very good paid, although I am not needed most of the time. But hey, up to 25 Euro per hour is good paid anyway :D

At least I've always a little first-aid-kit with me. Most of the time you need the gloves...;):D
Oh, I'd say I've no time to work too, but I work and earn money. Not much, but enough... Ok, I don't take lessons and neither do homework, but anyway... :D

My experiences with drunk people cover almost everything that can happen. That's why I know how to deal with... ;)
