who all the surprise acts at this WOA were?

Ah, so that was the suprise act before Equilibrium!? Not very tactfull of the Wacken organizers to have a sort of nu-metal/rock band playing before a band like Equillibrium and only 5 minutes time to brake up and build up. The band had a shit audiance because they were all waiting to see an other band and not this kind of shit. And Equillibrium had lesser playing time because 5 minutes ofcourse becomes 15-20 minutes or more.

Don't know what the third was though

Last (and only) time I saw them, back in 2003, they played 15 times the same song

Last time i saw them, back in 2004 they played about 15 DIFFERENT songs, and at 2002 they played about 18
