usually the pronounciation sucks in direct correlation to the number of beers consumed... so at wacken in probably sucks much of the time for most peolpe.There is no need to worry. With the exception of a few old people, everyone in Germany understands and speaks at least basic English... the pronunciation might suck though![]()
Don't worry. as the others said, most people can communicated more or less eloquently in english. Some people think their english is to bad and hesitate to speak to native speakers. If you want to get a laugh try to learn a few funny/useless german words. if someone realizes your german is worse than their english, they wont bother how good their english is.We are headed to wacken open air festival, we are first timers to this event, we are traveling from San Antonio, Texas. Excited but nervous about language we don't know german language we hope other people there speak English.
