My Wacken 2017 ticket has been sold. So that's the end of that story. I'll start counting down to Wacken 2018 now.

so that would bring a new problem, because I don't want to wear my rainboots on the dry festival ground, because they'll hurt my feet after a while.
But I also don't want to walk through the very deep mud with my normal shoes.

But I remember 2 years ago the festival area looked fine on wednesday evening, and when it open on thursday it was all mud within minutes

Garbage bags can do the trick. Put them over your shoes.
