You MIGHT have a small chance at Easter. But I am not sure, nor is it a given fact!

For the rest of the line-up, it'll probably be Metal Battle bands.

Which reminds me, the finals of the German Metal Battle will take place at the Dong Open Air Festival in Neukirchen-Vluyn.

Oh yeah, metal battle bands too of course.

I'm kind of not proud of myself, I forgot my dirty gore-tex boots I was wearing at Wacken in a bag since I came back... So right now I'm washing Wacken's dirt from my boots 8 months later :ugly:

To me last year was phenomenal. There were a lot of great black metal bands.
Hmm... I really only remember watching Marduk, Borknagar and 1349 (that I didn't watch due to a conflicting show). What other big-name BM bands did I miss?

I think lineups ''awesomeness'' rating is different for everyone, depending on what metal style they like the most and how many of them are in the lineup
Yeah, of course. I'm sure there would be someone for whom last year was the best Wacken lineup ever. :p

Holy shit dude... That's gonna take some effort.

After Wacken 2015, my boots were so dirty I just chucked them in the trash before catching the flight back home. They had mud everywhere inside and outside, no way I'd have been able to clean them. This year was quite a bit more manageable.

I did a pre-cleaning at the hotel before my flight to take off a big part of the mud/dirt, but since those boots are part of my military kit I can't really throw them away :p

I'm actually not sure if you can get that stuff online at all. Our "dealer" is one of our friend's girlfriend, who is from Nagaland (the home of Bhut Jolokia). She brings some along whenever she goes home. I tried it once.

So, I looked it up. over here we call it a ghost pepper. I know about those, never had one though.
I think there's a dutch website where I can order them. But honestly I think it'll probably be to hot. :p
