damn son.... that's a lot
Yes it's quite expensive, but it's worth it![]()
It's similar from Asia as well, which is why I try to take one big vacation and club Wacken with another couple of weeks of Tourism. This is also why my Wacken trip this year is doubtful. Doing 2 weeks in Iceland in Apr/May.
Still looking out for good deals though, if I can get something under $1000 for Hamburg, i'll probably pull the trigger, else my ticket will be found in the bargain price sale in a couple of months

Finally weekend...
I still have 5.5 hours to go.
After that I'll go and support some of my colleagues because they'll will run up the stairs in a high rise building (it's an annual competition) . 32 floor, about 130 meters.

That sounds like a weird competition
Isn't there a race like that in the US, New York, NY to be precise, where they climb the Empire State Building or something like that? That sounds like a weird competition
yeah it is kinda weird![]()
Well, we pay about €0.70 per CAD$ and about par for the US$.I don't know how it is for you where you're from, but the thing killing us here is the exchange rate to Euro. I need to pay 1.40$ Canadian to have one Euro.... that sucks

But if it is more expensive in both Canada and the US, that won't help much eiter!
Say: You pay CAD$6 for a beer, and €3 over here, the beer here is cheaper! Even if it's like $4.80 (calculated in CAD$)
You didn't choose the best example, cause alchool is wayyyyyy more cheaper in Europe. It will always be cheaper no matter what![]()
