Happy New Years! So, are they gonna be announcing more bands? What was so exciting about Volbeat being announced? I thought that was an April Fools Day joke announcement.

And there are only around 95 bands announced ,so yes there will be more, between 30 to 50 more

Wacken has never been a festival for BIG bands! Give or take two exceptions.
Wow 50 more bands, sure hope their better bands like Vader, Primordial, Manowar, Rammstein, Helloween etc
No, most are Metal Bettle bands from around the world. All of those (winning) bands recieve a slot. And there's Mambo Kurt, and there's also Victims of Madness who recieve a slot (or several for MK).
So don't expect big names as mentioned above! The billing as printed on FB (e.g.) is finished!

there's usually 2 or 3 every year, and I don't see them yet to be honest.
though I do count enough bands to fill my days up.
Well that sucks, guess I will go to either Party San before I fly home or to Metal on the Hill.
