Actually, I only know Texel. I've been there once. (actually twice)

But it appears Terschelling is nice as well.
And there's Vlieland, which appears to be car free.

terschelling is nice, but just like texel during the summer it's really busy, and their are lots of youth just going their to party. and it ain't a metal party

I was at one near "de koog" and it was a nice environment. but in the village itself there's probably a lot of partying youth during the summer holiday.
Their where a couple of disco's and stuff like that.

But as stated earlier, if you go like, October, this youth should be long gone, and then those island are friendly areas.

We went to De Koog by bike (from the ferry harbour), and did several sight seeing tours.

Bare in mind, Texel is the biggest Wad island! It's even bigger than Sylt! (and I've been there as well, also twice.) (note: Sylt isn't actually an island, there is a dike with a railway line to the main land (Niebüll), but is considered an island)
And Sylt is more touristic than Texel, it's busy every time! (last visit, April 2015)
