Yeah i guess it must feel pretty cold from the change of temperatures, where as to me it ill be alot warmer and wont need thermals haha. I still sleep in a hoodie tho, as i dont want to risk getting ill at wacken before i go to bloodstock.

If you get the hand warmers that you click to heat up and put them in the bottom of your sleeping bag 20 mins before you sleep it ill help keep you warm until you fall asleep :)

It's not the change of temperature that bothers me, but rather the temperature (and humidity) itself. When I went to visit Pompeii, it was a sunny 38C day, I was surrounded by concrete, not a roof top in site, I was wearing jeans and a black t-shirt, and I felt totally comfortable. Last year I did Bloodstock as well, and I recall one day I said "yeah, it's warm, the sun's a bit burny, but it's not hot", and I looked over to one of the locals who was red-faced and beading with sweat. My first thoughts were "are you sick? Should I call someone?" :ugly:

Hahaha yeah were like that haha even when its around 18 degress and up we all turn into sweaty lobsters. I find it worse when its around that degrees but when iv been to tunisa or turkey when its around 40 + degrees im not as bad, its very strange.
Bloodstock i felt was rather cold last year and just remember dancing about drunk in the rain one night as it was so nice from the warmth in the day. Always feel bloodstock is the perfect temperature for a festival, warmth then cold at night to sleep :)

I agree, iv camped in november before over here...really bad idea, i had thermals and a few layers on, and blankets over my sleeping bag and hat, 3 lots of socks on... it was horrible and couldnt stop shaking the whole time meaning i couldnt sleep. But normally if its like that i just spoon becky and use body warmth and hand warming pods to heat up enough to sleep.

hope its not like that ever again! Was like that at download 2012 when it was the worst rain disaster. my sleeping bag was soaked inside out and all my clothes, so i couldnt get warm no matter what, was in tears and almost left to my car....alcohol helped. :ugly:

Hahah nope it was so bad, they didnt even help disabled people, so me and my friend had to help them up the hills, they had rope from one end on the hill down to the stage up to the entrance which was no use as even i struggled and took me an hour for a 5 minute walk.

I had to leave our tent as well we were sleeping in a pool of mud basically. Everything was wrecked, and even when i was driving out we almost got stuck and alot of cars had to get towed :(
bad memories!

after two years of sunshine and 30 degrees and more it would about time for a less hot and dry summer:D But 2007 and 2012 were realy extreme . I donˋt thing that itˋll be that worse.

Im happy with cool and a little bit of rain just aslong as the sun comes out at times to dry it up, just means less dust :)
