okay, astra... a fine, but quite cheap beer, most are 1 or 2 € per 6pack more. But astra in 0,5ers? only seen as cans, the bottles are usually 0,3ers, so a 6er has 2 liters.

But even if I'd take some of the more expensive standard beers (everything except very rare imports...) i'm still under 5€ per 6er. That's still not even ten dollars...

It was plastic bottles. At first, I thought it was glass until I grabed the 6-pack. Never saw that before.

  • One nasty glass cut from a broken bottle (my friend)

  • one Scutigera coleoptrata in my bottle case (google it :) )

  • and drank 2-3 glass of our previous batch directly from the tap.

that's okay - do you see it as cheap or as expensive?

it doesn't get cheaper than 2,10€ + 1,50€ deposit for six 0,5l cans though. and i wouldn't recommend that beer.

Especially coming from Australia and not being much of a beer drinker, I certainly do! Those beers you wouldn't recommend are pretty awful and totally vile if consumed warm after sitting in the hot festival sun, BUT, they're pretty much the reason I get so shitfaced at German festivals.

WHich is one of the reasons I take my own (Belgian) beers, and drink them relatively cold, if hidden under a big pile of clothes and luggage. (for one reason or anohter I always seem to do great, it's not ICE cold, but it will do.
And an other advantage, I can annoy "deposit pirates" with them. EIther by giving all fo my cans, or throwing them to their head(s). (choose most convenient choice) :ugly:

Maybe but getting drunk for 3.5euro, i'm fine with that. :ugly:

I don't know.
Last time I bought beer, it was about 7.50€ for 8 different bottles (glass) of Flensburger! (incl. 8ct deposit per bottle)
But that's sort of an "A" brand.
A 5.0 will cost approx. 25ct and the deposit is almost worth more than the beer itself. And actually, 5.0 is quite drinkable!

haha oh boy, gal, you know, those extra cheap oetinger, trumbräu, 50 etc beers are shit. for just 3€ a sixpack you get good astra, 3,50€ dithmarscher and 4.00€ flensburger, which are all much more recommendable... okay, they are glassbottles at 0,3, but there are also cans.

seems flens has become more expensive than it used to be... they were at 75ct a bottle...?
and 5.0 is well, yeah, drinkable makes the point. not good, but drinkable. and they cost more than that. least 35ct a can plus 25ct deposit at nearly any supermarket.

Different types of Flensburg, Herr GoS. And I am not sure of the price. Might be less.
