Hi everyone! I have been so busy lately I miss you guys!

You will love the Metal Train - I would have loved it more if I spoke German and my boyfriend wasn't so jealous Expect to leave stupidly early Sunday - don't even bother sleeping.. I think we were supposed to leave at 3 but they didn't have our buses organized so we ended up not leaving until 4, it wasn't fun (hopefully they improve on this for you guys)

I wish I could go again this year but alas, I have no more cash to blow right now hehe

I was thinking of not bothering to sleep until I was on the train on Sunday. I didn't realise the buses left that early! I would always hear announcements from about 4:30am.

I knew they were leaving that early, but we'll see.
The only thing that bothers me, packing my stuff and putting them somewhere on a safe place! I'm a bit worried there. Unless we can find decent neighbours who'll be willing to take care of it.

If it's OK with you I'm sure we can stay with my German friends (the ones I met the first time I went to Wacken and with whom I have camped for the last two festivals). There's usually someone that sticks around/stays up late. I also have no quarrels with your keeping your belongings in my tent until I pack up.

If you all know people on the camping grounds that's probably the best way to keep your stuff safe. We were lucky in that we rented out tents so we didn't have to do any of that packing crap and the people at the rented tent area are awesome (I highly recommend the service if you're coming from far away or just don't want the hassle of bringing camping gear).

From what I remember the Metal Train leaves pretty well before just about anyone else. Sucks but that's the way of it. I would have really preferred to be able to leave on the Monday at a nice pace like our friends from Austria did.

Anyways...You don't sleep much at Wacken!

We recently got our tickets, must admit I'm impressed with them, best looking tickets I've seen in a long time! Just need to make sure we get their in decent time in on the Wednesday to fully soak up the weekend lol!
