seems funny, but I bet it was a hell lot funnier IRL.

Said doctor is originally from India, but his accent suggests he worked in England for a long time. Not only did he pick up the accent, but also the sarcasm which he pulls off brilliantly and does so on a regular basis :D We need more good doctors with a sense of humour and less bland/irritating personalities.

I guess you had to be there, and work in the field of medicine in some way or another :)

Also, @smoking discussion, am I the only one who never started? :o Never saw the appeal. So I never even had one. And I don't plan on changing that.

Nope, go us! Think of all the dosh we've saved :D I don't know about other countries, but tobacco is taxed extremely heavily over here. There are posters at work that say all these things about "every cigarette you don't smoke is doing you good" and I think it says that if a pack-a-day smoker quits, in one year they will save $4k!

As much as I try not to, I feel like I'm a little too involved in my work; I forget that normal people don't speak like that etc. :ugly:

I know what you mean... I don't have to start telling people what I do for a living in detail, nobody would understand :p

Well Sari and Koli would probably.. but that's because they work in the same industrie

When I started smoking a pack of 25 cigarettes cost $1.50. When I quit about 25 years later they were $10. I smoked about a pack / day so quitting definitely was worth it for me - not as expensive as AUS though! Honestly keeping the price high likely discourages a lot of kids - it's a lot tougher to get 5 dollars from your parents every day than it is to get $1.50, and when you're a kid it's not like you have a job so if you start smoking like I did at 12 you pretty well are relying on your parents to support your habit.
