I blame my advancing age. Insomnia runs in my family and just gets worse as we age so I guess I'm just lucky. I may mention it the next time I go to see a doctor but that won't be for a while.

Just because it runs in your family doesn't mean you shouldn't try and do something about it. I won't say call up your doctor now because I hate the doctor :p, but getting that little sleep on a regular basis just isn't healthy.

So I did end up seeing Iron Man yesterday. That was fun.

Feeling better now too. :) Still got a cough but I should be able to deal with work today.

Ok, I'm going to adhere to the promise I made to myself and I'm going to leave the house and interact with real-life people tonight :ugly:

Yes, that was definitely worth leaving the house tonight. I managed to pick-up by backorder, and fit in two events in 2 different suburbs before midnight...kind of :p Doing the goodbye rounds took much longer than I anticipated :p

So we have a giant display of these TVs. Two pallets full, like 20, right in front of the counter. Somebody walked over to me when I was standing behind the counter - right in front of them - and asked me where they were.

:rolleyes::D

And also - people I hate at Walmart #2: people who ask me about something, I give them an answer they don't like (like we don't have x in stock or we don't do x service at this store) and they go and find someone else and ask the same thing. Idiots.

Sight problem. Happens to me all the time.

And no, you cannot always see that with someone! Trust me, I know many who can perfectly camouflage it!

99% of people aren't blind. At least 97% of people have no severe vision issues. That wasn't the case here and it's never the case with anyone that asks me questions like that.

Half the time people just miss it and it's just one of those moments where you laugh at yourself. The other half is people who just don't try.

I wasn't talking about BLINDness but imperfect eyesight, which enables people to percept vision, be that little as it may!

And to quote a friend of mine, who visited me last year, "Simetimes I forget you're handicapped, the way you move and do stuff". (2nd part is free)
And it's SO visible with me! :p (after we parked our car at a handicap space that is)

I wasn't talking about complete blindness either. My point is that the vast majority of people who ask those questions can see perfectly fine (with or without glasses). Doesn't matter if I can identify them or not, it's just highly unlikely that they legitimately couldn't see what they were looking for.

We all have blonde moments from time to time, but the woman who served me at the supermarket today...not sure if she was having a string of blonde moments or if she was genuinely daft.

I put all of my stuff on the counter and put my shopping bag at the front on top of everything so she could see it. I had it arranged so that the stuff that needs to go in the fridge or freezer went in the bag first and if she ran out of space she could put the dry stuff into plastic bags (yes I'm prejudice of wet plastic bags :p). Every other "check-out chick" who's ever served me fills my shopping bag first, and if it doesn't all fit, then they use their plastic bags.

She saw the green shopping bag, put it aside and started filling plastic bags with my groceries :KO: I then brought it to her attention and then she asked me if it would all fit in my shopping bag :rolleyes:
