I suppose that's right too! well I guess I will go back to hoping at least it won't rain while we are there then.

I'm bringing very little in the way of clothing for our 3 week trip so I will hope not to have to wash it every day considering there probably are no facilities for that sort of thing at the festival. I have some stops planned during the trip for laundry but need to make it through Wacken as clean as possible LOL

Actually I did see some washing machines at the festival last year (I think it was around camp B or C?), however I'm not so sure if I saw tumble dryers. I didn't see the point in doing it because it would have taken me more than an hour to walk back there with my dirty clothes, then back to my camp, and all it would have taken was to fall over or drop something and I was doomed.

Argh work is so fucked trying to handle the most essential tasks of two jobs. I haven't even started trying to "catch up" on all the stuff from the Easter weekend when we weren't there :uff: Only 2 more days!

Most of the time I was content when the sun was out, so long as I was out of my tent by 8am. I guess my opinion doesn't really count because it's kind of hot for half the year here and I hate even slightly cold weather :o

I was lucky last year. Only a few rainy patches at Hellfest. Missed the huge downpour Thurs due a transport stuff up. The bucketing Sun morning was a prick tho, especially having to hike gear back to the car. Sebastian Back hated it more tho, only about 1000 braved it to see him mainstage. Cleared up after him tho :p

Actually yeah, come to think of it there was only maybe one day per other festival that I attended where it rained. It sucked packing up in the rain after Headbangers though :o

Yeah, setting up or packing up in the rain is the worst, luckily only had to do it a couple of times. Mates who were at Download last year were shaking at the sight of mud - sounds like that got very Apocalypse Now. Seems like it was a bit of a wet summer in Europe last year so hope we're in for better luck this year, i'm getting old and can't be buggered with trying situations :D
